NOTICE OF PUBLIC
HEARING VILLAGE OF BROADVIEW
PUBLIC WATER SUPPLY LOAN PROJECT
The Village of Broadview will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. in the Village Chambers, 2350 S 25th Avenue, Broadview, Illinois to obtain public comment regarding its intent to apply for LowInterest Loans from the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (IEPA) for water system improvements.
The public hearing is being held in accordance with the State of Illinois Rules for Public Water Supply Loans, Part 663.330.
The purpose of the hearing is to obtain public comment on the Project Plan and the IEPA’s Preliminary Environmental Impacts Determination for proposed projects.
The Project Plan and the IEPA’s Environmental Impacts Determination are available for inspection at the office of the Village Engineer located at the 9933 Roosevelt Road, Westchester, IL 60154 during regular business hours.
The Project Plan Environmental and Impacts Determination includes a Lead Service Line Replacement Project which include the installation of approximately 1,850 copper water services to replace existing lead water services.
The Office of the Public Works Director will receive written comments for a period of 10 days following the public hearing at mames@broadview-il.gov
